May 26

Today, it is sunny.

Today is Marcusie's birthday. Happy birthday to Marcusie! He is 11 years old.

Yesterday, Gary, Epifi, Brian, Marcusie and Susan played baseball. They played with Jaco, Sean, Allan, Allison, and Pasha. They played beside Jaco's house.

Cathy played baseball at the playground.

Annie rode on Jeannie's Honda with Kayula and Sarah.

Yesterday, our class played floor hockey against Marie-Carmen's class. Our class won. The score was 6-5. Marcusie scored the overtime goal. George was the goalie.

May 25

Today is windy, cloudy, and snowy.

On Friday, Steven was sick. John taught our class.

Yesterday, Epifi played baseball. Also, Susan played. Also, Pasha, Allan, Chris, Sam, Sam, Felix, Allison, Jaco, Sean, and Larry.

Cathy went skidooing yesterday across the river. Also, Marcusie went skidooing. He also went across the river.

Gary and Toma also played baseball.

Today is George's dad's birthday! His name is Samanie. Happy birthday, Samanie!

Cathy, Susan, Anthony, Epifi, Gary, Brian, Allan, Jaco, Sam K. and Pasha Haukai all played baseball yesterday beside Jaco's house.

There will be a garage sale tonight in the gym.

Marcusie played baseball on the CO-OP side.

The bus is not running this morning.

May 20

Yesterday, it was very windy.

This morning, all the students are in class.

Yesterday, Toma went skating at the arena.

Brian played baseball beside Jaco's house. Epifi also played.

George went hunting. He shot one ptarmigan.

Susan played volleyball in the school gym last evening.

Cathy stayed at home. Annie stayed at home.

Six students from our school returned from Tundra Trot in George River. They were: Mark, Tommy, Samwillie, Malaiya, Susie, and Minnie.

It was cold and snowy this weekend. On Sunday, there was a blizzard.

Cathy went to church. There was a dance.

Susan and Epifi visited Lucassie Grey. They played hide and go seek.

Marcusie's dad shot a black bear.

Marcusie played baseball.

Cathy was riding her bike yesterday.

Today, it is snowing.

Yesterday, Marcusie went hunting and he shot three ptarmigans. He went with his dad.

George came back from camping yesterday. He went camping with his dad and Qalingo Airo, a friend of his dad. George's dad shot one ptarmigan.

Cathy and Becky went to the community hall. They played badminton.

Steven went to Montreal last week. He was gone for three days. While he was gone, John was the teacher.

Epifi drew a large picture of a seal hunt.

Epifi went camping this weekend. He stayed in Joseph's cabin. Joseph is his uncle. Epifi went fishing and caught one fish.

Marcusie also went camping. He shot one ptarmigan and caught nine fish. Marcusie owns a .22 rifle.

Yesterday, Gary went to the community hall to eat dinner. Cathy and Marcusie also went to the dinner. The dinner was to celebrate Mother's Day, and the Pee-Wee's first place hockey win, and the Junior's first place hockey win, and the Women's Bantam's bronze medal, and first place in para-skiing (Minnie Annahatak).

Macaroni, pizza, hotdogs and Inuit food were enjoyed.

Cathy and Annie did nothing.

Marcusie played baseball.

Susan went camping. She caught two fish. She went camping with her dad and her brother. Cathy did not go.

Today, the students thought of words that were about "Camping". Then, we used the words to make a Wordle poster. Here it is:

May 5

Marcusie, Susan and Brian returned from the hockey tournament in Wakeham Bay.

Susan's team never lost any games. Their team got a shut-out in their last game, the gold medal game. The score was 10-0. It was against George River.

Marcussie's team also never lost. They had one tie, with George River. Marcusie scored three goals.

Susan, Marcusie and Brian got medals.

Many students from the school went to the airport to greet the hockey players when they arrived.

Last night, George and Gary played hockey in the playground.

Marcusie rode his bike.

Epifi surfed the internet.

Cathy and Annie and Peggy visited their friend, Kayula. They played jacks, skip-bo, hopscotch, and close.

Susan visited Allison.

May 4

There is an artist visiting the school. His name is Mario Berube. He is showing all the students how to paint a mural. The mural will be put on the school wall when it is finished.

This morning, Annie and Cathy painted rabbits on the mural. Annie's rabbit is blue and Cathy's rabbit is pink.

The Pee-Wee's played hockey this weekend. The girls' team and the boys' team from Kangirsuk both won first place. They never lost any games.

They will be returning to Kangirsuk this afternoon at 4:00.

George went camping over-night on Thursday. George saw a small black bear. George caught one fish. Aloupa Taqulik shot a ptarmigan.

On Sunday, Gary, Toma and George played hockey at the playground on the Northern side. Tommy-Mark, Mark, and Tommy Kudluk also played.

Epifi and Sean were playing on top of the containers.

Cathy, Annie and Peggy played Skip-bo and Close at Kayula's Place.

Some of the secondary students went upriver over-night today with Dave Turcotte, Dave Lane and Tommy Kudluk.

May 1

Today, some of the students are going to play hockey in Wakeham Bay. Marucusie, Susan, Brain will be going.

Marcusie, Susan and Brian practiced at the hockey.

Junior is the coach.

Annie and Cathy went to the community hall yesterday. They played home free.

They played bingo on the FM last night.

Jimmy Pootooge won 900$.

George went upriver with Dave and many of the elementary students yesterday. They will be coming back today.
